TERMS & CONDITIONS / HOW TO ORDER
The terms and conditions set out below replace those issued previously and apply to all UK delivery points.
Descriptions
Catalogue descriptions and illustrations are as accurate as possible at the time of printing, however minor deviations may be necessary. We reserve the right to amend specifications without prior notice.
We make every effort to describe the content and make up of all products. However, due to catalogue restrictions, we strongly recommend you read and understand the instructions and labels of each product before use, taking care to understand risks and warnings.
Payment
(i) Payment terms are strictly 28 days from
the date of invoice. As per The Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2013, all overdue accounts will be charged at a rate of 8% above the base rate from the day that the account became due until cleared for payment.
(ii) Legal title of the goods shall not pass to the buyer until payment has been made in full.
(iii) If the buyer shall go into liquidation, enter into a deed of arrangement or otherwise compound with its creditors, the company shall be entitled immediately after giving notice
of intention to repossess, to enter upon the premises of the buyer and repossess the goods to which it has title. Unless otherwise agreed in writing nothing in this clause shall permit the buyer to retain the goods sold to him or to refuse or delay payment thereof.
Value Added Tax
Prices are shown exclusive of VAT which will be charged on the invoice at 20%. Should VAT rates change during the life of the catalogue, the appropriate rate will be applied to all invoices.
Products Temporarily Out of Stock
Due to fluctuations in demand we may temporarily be out of stock of a product. When this occurs, the relevant items will be indicated on the invoice and advice note.
Minimum Order Values and Quantities
We have no minimum order value or quantity. Faulty Materials
Goods will be replaced if proved to be faulty in manufacture, but no liability will be accepted for consequential damage or loss of any description in respect of material sold. Whilst every care is taken in manufacture, we do
not guarantee the suitability of any product for any specific purpose, and it is the user’s responsibility to ensure the goods purchased will meet particular requirements.
Colour Charts
Whilst every effort has been made to faithfully show colour references, these have been produced within the limitation of the four- colour printing process and the colour charts are intended only as a guide to the colour you will receive.
Return of Goods
We cannot accept return of any goods which have been delivered as ordered, without prior permission.
Where permission is granted, credit will be given according to the condition of goods returned. All carriage charges associated with the return are the responsibility of the customer. Specialist Crafts can help arrange collection, and the minimum charge for this is £15.00,
dependent on how the goods are packaged. Please contact customer services if you require additional information.
No goods are supplied on a sale or return basis. Please note all refunds will be by the payment method used for the order.
Prices
Prices quoted supersede all previously published prices.
Customers should note that orders are accepted subject to prices ruling at time of despatch.
Specialist Crafts will endeavour to hold all prices throughout the catalogues lifepsan, however, due to the huge changes in the UK and World economies in recent years, we reserve the right to change prices without notice.
Any changes will of course be notified to customers when placing an order and this will not affect your statutory rights.
Claims
Both we and the carriers must be notified within:
• 10 days from date of invoice for non-delivery of goods.
• 3 days from date of receipt of goods for damage or shortage.
Outside these periods we will not be held responsible for the settlement of claims.
Health & Safety Data
Under The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Regulation 2002 as amended) we will provide Health & Safety Data information to a qualified, professional or competent person upon request.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that products are supplied with the correct and legal labelling and that the appropriate risk information is displayed in line with the CLP Regulation of 6 April 2009 (European regulation EC No 1272/2008) with regards to Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances & Mixtures (CLP legislation).

Please note that phone calls may be monitored for quality and training purposes.
Price Match
We will match any published Educational Supplier’s Catalogue price. You must supply evidence of the lower price by attaching a copy of the relevant catalogue page to your order. We will not Price Match previously purchased items.
We will only match prices at the time of placing the order and cannot apply any discounts retrospectively if you see the product cheaper at any time after ordering, even if you have not yet received the goods.
The Price Match is only applicable for the duration of this catalogue.
We will match the competitor’s price of any like-for-like product i.e. the same brand, size and colour, which is in stock and available for immediate despatch.
We retain the right to withdraw the Price Match offer at any time.

We strive to maintain 98% availability for our top 2,000 products. While we make every effort to keep stock levels accurate, availability is subject to change without notice. A full list of products included in this availability guarantee is available upon request. Please contact us for the most up-to-date information.

UK Carriage & Delivery Standard Delivery
We now offer free standard delivery on all orders over £40.00. Please ensure you select this option when placing your order.
Carriage will be charged at £5.99 (+ VAT) for all standard orders. Depending on stock availability, standard delivery will be 3 - 5 days (but may increase to 5 - 7 days during busy periods). Carriage for large equipment (e.g. Kilns etc.) is by quotation. Delivery
to the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey is charged at £9.99 per order.
Next Day Delivery
(weekdays only)
Guaranteed Next Day delivery will be charged at £7.99 (+ VAT) per order. Next Day orders must be received before 2.00pm.
This Next Day service is only guaranteed in most mainland UK regions and excludes the Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands, Cornwall, South West Wales, Northern Ireland and any offshore Islands where delivery may take an extra day.
Palletised orders and orders for large equipment are excluded from this service. Special delivery can be quoted upon request.
How to order
Please complete the order form making sure you include the catalogue code and description including colour and quantity, plus the following information:
1. Full name and address including postcode for invoicing.
2. Invoice address.
3. Delivery address if different to Invoice address.
4. A contact telephone number in case of queries.
5. Your email address, plus the email address for invoicing.
6. Any special instructions.
