Bernina L-450 Overlocker

The BERNINA L 450 Overlocker combines precise stitch control with efficient seam construction, allowing users to sew seams, trim excess fabric and finish raw edges in one operation. With 16 stitch variations across 2, 3 and 4-thread overlocking, it offers flexibility for garment construction, decorative finishes and textile projects.

BERNINA's Micro Thread Control (mtc) allows fine adjustment of the amount of thread wrapping around the fabric edge, helping achieve neat, balanced seams. The adjustable differential feed helps prevent unwanted stretching or puckering, particularly when working with knitted and stretch fabrics. With sewing speeds of up to 1,200 stitches per minute, the L 450 supports efficient garment assembly and repeated seam finishing. Adjustable stitch length and an overlock width of 3–9mm provide control over different fabrics and techniques, while the built-in rolled hem lever makes switching to narrow edge finishes more straightforward.

The machine features five-step presser foot pressure adjustment and a two-step presser foot lift with additional front lift for easier fabric positioning. Colour-coded threading paths simplify setup, while two bright LED lights improve visibility around the sewing area.
