CR Clarke Sheet Press Model R30

Sheet press which forms plastic sheets in conjunction with the Granulator system above. Converts granulated thermoplastic material into a usable form using heat and pressure. The finished sheet is not as homogenised as, for example, a commercially moulded part, but is perfect for low-stress applications. The R30 press can form sheets up to 458 x 305mm in size. One frame is supplied with the machine to make a sheet 458 x 245mm.

Applications for commonly re-formed plastic sheets.
HDPE*/LDPE* (milk bottles):
• Can be cut using a bandsaw, vibrating saw or laser cutter
• Can be folded using a strip heater
• Can be injection moulded

HIPS (vacuum forming sheets):
• Can be cut using a bandsaw or vibrating saw
• Can be vacuum formed
• Can be folded using a strip heater

Acrylic:
• Can be cut using a bandsaw, vibrating saw or laser cutter
• Can be folded using a strip heater

*When using liquid containers, washing processes must be carried out to ensure hygienic operation.
