Craft Mixed Media Iron

The basic tool for modern encaustic art is the painting iron.

This small - 125 x 70mm, low temperature instrument is used for applying and controlling the coloured waxes.

Designed to be used in normal position or inverted as a small heated palette hotplate.

To use as a heated palette simply remove the handle, turn the base over, and slide the iron onto the flat handle until it clicks.
