Pébéo Lino Print Transfer Medium provides a simple way to transfer a printed design directly onto a dark lino plate, helping printmakers reproduce drawings and images accurately without tracing them by hand.
Apply a thin layer of Transfer Medium with a brush to both the lino surface and the printed side of your image. Position the image printed side down onto the lino and roll firmly with a roller to ensure good contact. Allow approximately 30 minutes to dry completely.
Once dry, lightly moisten the paper and gently rub the surface to remove the paper fibres. As the paper is removed, the printed image remains transferred onto the lino, providing a clear guide ready for cutting.
Supplied in an 80ml tube, the medium is particularly useful for detailed designs, repeated projects and students who want to work from photographs, digital artwork or other printed imagery.
