The SINGER HD0405S Heavy Duty Overlocker is designed to speed up garment construction by sewing seams, finishing raw edges and trimming excess fabric in a single operation. Its heavy-duty metal frame and stainless steel bedplate provide a robust foundation for regular sewing and textile work.
With 2, 3 and 4-thread capability, the HD0405S offers flexibility for different seam finishes and fabric requirements. The differential feed helps control how fabric moves through the machine, reducing unwanted stretching or puckering, particularly when working with knitted and stretch fabrics.
A 60% larger cutting knife trims excess seam allowance as you sew, while speeds of up to 1,300 stitches per minute make it useful for projects involving repeated seams and garment assembly.
Additional features include adjustable thread tension, a built-in rolled hem plate for narrow edge finishes and a free arm for sewing sleeves and other tubular pieces. An extra-high presser foot lift provides additional clearance when positioning fabric.
The machine also features two LED lights, colour-coded threading guides and pre-threaded spools to make preparation more straightforward. A selection of accessories, including a spare lower knife and scrap bag, is supplied.
