Solar Table Fan

A high quality solar motor supplies the necessary speed for a table fan when connected to a 400mA solar cell exposed to normal sunlight. The speed of the fan is controlled by a diode and switch circuit.

Age: 12+. Making time: 3-4 hours. Size: 80 x 73 x 115mm.

Tools needed: file, sandpaper, wood glue, soldering iron, saw, drill, set square.

Skills required: marking, drilling, sawing, soldering (not necessarily) and assembling.
