Specialist Crafts Lead-Free Stoneware Glossy Brush On Glazes 1L

Great value for money, brush-on stoneware glazes by Specialist Crafts. They are lead-free and require only 2-3 coats to produce vibrant opaque colours once kiln fired. The glazes will naturally give brighter results on white body clays and will differ slightly if applied to buff coloured clays due to the iron in the clay body but still have a pleasing vivid effect. Darker clay bodies naturally contain higher levels of iron, which influences glazes to fire to deeper/warmer tones. To achieve a more accurate and consistent colour match, especially with lighter glazes we recommend using white clay. All colours have a gloss finish except for the satin white which has a mid sheen effect. Firing range 1200-1280⁰C. 1 Litre tub.
