Spend a creative day with Jenny Muncaster exploring colour, texture and expressive mixed-media techniques as you create your own vibrant Delft-inspired fruit bowl artwork.

During the workshop you will:

• Explore expressive painting techniques using a lively range of mixed media, including watercolour, water-soluble pastels, acrylic paint, markers and fineliners.

• Create a series of colourful fruit studies, experimenting with bold colour combinations, brushwork, layering, blending, texture and mark-making.

• Discover how to develop a striking Delft-inspired bowl, working with ultramarine and cyan to contrast with your colourful fruit.

• Cut, arrange and combine your individual studies to create a vibrant finished mixed-media collage that is completely unique to you.

• Learn playful, accessible techniques that can be adapted and taken back into the classroom, suitable for different abilities and levels of experience.

• Enjoy plenty of opportunity to experiment, ask questions and learn directly from Jenny throughout the day.

• All art materials and equipment are provided, so you can concentrate on creating.

• Lunch and refreshments are included, giving you time to relax, chat and share ideas with fellow art educators.

Leave with your completed artwork, practical techniques and fresh ideas to inspire your own creative practice and teaching.
